Blessing Bags for the Homeless

St Timothy Parish and St. Timothy School are holding a joint collection for PIN Ministry. This ministry serves hundreds of homeless annually. We recently had Bob Plaskett, founder, come to speak at our Masses about his organization. As part of our grant requirements our parish provides service opportunities to help the agency. We are gathering supplies to assemble Blessing Bags to distribute to the Homeless.  All items will be sorted and placed into gallon-size zip lock bags so please ensure items are small or travel size. The finished bags will be delivered to PIN Ministry.

This collection drive will begin on October 12th and end on October 25th.

I am also in need of a few volunteers to help sort and assemble the bags in the Youth Room on: Sunday October 25th 5pm-8pm, Monday October 26th 3pm – 5pm, and Tuesday October 27th 5pm – 8pm.
