The receipts are up $2,367 vs. last year and up for the month by
$2,100 vs budget. DPAA – we received a rebate from the diocese for
the 2005 DPAA in the amount of $16,497 which we paid against the
land loan. There are still $15,000 in outstanding pledges. Payments
to St. Paul are on track. Railings will be installed this month.
Signs are still pending permits. St. Pauls finance council meeting
was held to determine the new rates for tuition for the 2006/2007
school year. The parents will be notified directly via letter from
St. Paul. The St. Paul families were contacted via letter from Fr.
Bolte discussing how a family will be considered out of parish and
therefore need to pay out of parish tuition. He has received a few
responses from the letters. There is a pending quote for parking lot
improvements to fill cracks, seal coat and striping. We are waiting
for additional quote for comparison. Landscaping – Pastoral Council
has voted to have the parish landscaping be maintained
professionally. The finance council is waiting for additional quotes
in order to compare them. Next Finance council meeting is 4/12/06.

Worship Committee
Update was provided by Larry Lense
Fr. Bolte will be IN the font doing the baptisms this Easter Vigil –
there are three baptisms scheduled. Ministry signup sheets are
currently in the sacristy for the Holy Week services and Easter
masses. To alleviate the problem of too many announcements – they
will be shortened to what is essential and encourage parishioners to
read their bulletins. Father Bolte is interested in suspending a 5-6
foot crucifix behind the altar. Cost is approx. $10,000 – He is also
interested in having a St. Joseph statue with candle holders placed
where the St. Timothy Icon is currently placed. The cost of this is
approx. $10,000. He would like to maintain continuity in design with
the Mary Statue. St. Timothy Icon Picture will be moved behind the
baptristry. Mobil Book Racks are still being looked into. Easter
Vigil is currently being coordinated and Easter Morning Mass will be
at 7:00am. Altar cloths are fraying and we are looking into placing
either lace or satin around the edges to help prolong their life.
Parish Council Pillar representatives were reminded once again to
make sure they have three volunteers willing to have their foot
washed in the feet washing ceremony on Holy Thursday. Next meeting
will be May 17, 2006.

Formation Committee
update was provided by Marin Smith
Youth programs are winding down. Grades 7-8 Greatest success in the
ongoing program for Confirmed 8th graders. Participation has been
much better than anticipated. Penny ware is currently under way to
aid CRS and Ted & Mona. Grade 2 – Jesus Retreat was a huge success.
They received much positive feedback. Grades 1,3,4,5,6 classes as
usual. Lenten projects are underway – footprints will be showing up
in the hallways for all good deeds done by students. Nursery and
Preschool: Deb Thomas is working with Julie Reynolds on hands on
activities for the Nursery – Attendance has reached unsafe levels
for the space and number of adult/teen supervision. They will have
to begin capping the number of toddlers to 15 who can be
accommodated at each mass. They need more space – possibly the
classrooms in Brodnick Hall currently used as storage. Adult Faith:
Lenten retreat to occur 3/25 with Fr. Bolte. Spiritual Masters
Series with Fr. Tim Scheer.
-
Community Update was
provided by Michelle Svec
Dinner dance netted $15,200. Attendance was down approximately 70
people from last year. Fish Frydays are averaging 650 meals served
per week. On April 7th they will introduce a new entrée on the Fish
Fryday menu – a hand cut/hand breaded fish fillet will be offered.
The Easter Egg hunt will occur on 4/15/06 from 9:00-11:00 am.

New hope outreach 20 volunteers showed up on 2/22 to learn about the
volunteer opportunities and help with office tasks. We tithed to New
Hope (via Grant) $2,466.88 and an additional “matching” grant was
given by an individual parishioner to bring the total to $4,932.76.
They will use the money to purchase baby beds and car seats for
mothers who participate in their classes. Upcoming grants – March
Diocese collection for International Funds. April Grant is Welcome
House of NKY. On 4/7 these residents of welcome house will be
brought to St. Tim’s for the fish fryday. We have multiple families
in need of landscaping work – this will be scheduled in April. Honk
continues to draw around 10 volunteers per month – Jim Scholar leads
this group on the 4th Saturday of the month. T-shirts and Golf
Shirts are looking to be ordered with the St. Tim’s logo and “Stir
into Flame” scripture message embroidered on each shirt for the St.
Tim’s representatives to wear while out in the community doing
outreach. Mike Frank was appointed as Chairman and Lisa Ratermann
appointed as Secretary as Marty & Geri Herbert have given this
ministry many years and decided it was time to step down.
