2.       Formation Pillar – Marin Smith report from Chris Bruewer, Director of Faith Formation.
Current year evaluation and preparations for next year’s program has begun.  Closing Mass/May Crowning is scheduled for Wednesday, May 3, with all classes from preschool through 8th grade participating.

3.       Outreach Pillar – Mary Brzinski reported.
Boy Scout troop 702 helped with the spring collection.  The Scouts delivered three car loads of items to Be Concerned.  There were over one thousand items donated to the collection.  City Heights and Gallatin County CAC also benefited from the collection.  Summer is tough months for food pantries.  Donations are stronger during winter months.  The outreach group decided that we needed to add a collection to help the pantries stay stocked.  We had 28 guests from Welcome House join us for a fish fry on Friday, April 7th.  A parishioner donated money to pay for the dinners of the Welcome House guests.  Madonna House volleyball marathon is on May 6th.  We have an hour time slot at 10:00 am.  Cost or donation suggestion is $15 per player.  Hoping to have an adult team and youth team to play against each other.  Next Outreach meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 25th at 7:00 pm.

4.       Worship Pillar – Larry Lense not present.  No report obtained.

5.       Father Bolte reported that nomination letters for new Pastoral Council members will be made up in the near future.  Members going off of Parish Council include Joe Meiman and Laura Eades.  Father was not sure of the other members that will be off.  He will look into this and report at next PC meeting. The process will include nominations, then Discernment meeting which will be to decide on the nominees.  June meeting will then be an election meeting.  There is also need for a new school board member for St. Paul.  Finance Council also has a member replacement.  DPAA goal is @ $123,000.00.  Extra money earned above and beyond our goal will go to paying off the land.  April will be our pay off to St. Paul.  Discussion about statues and cross and cost of each.  Still looking into brands and purchase.  Father reported that there is some trespassing on our land as well as Diocesan land with some damaging effects.  “No Trespassing” signs to be posted and more police patrol enforced.  There will be some change in the Frogtown road entrance due to the development across from St. Tim’s.  Look for construction in the near future.

    6. Next Pastoral Council Meeting scheduled for May 16, 2006.

Respectfully submitted,
