Planning Process

In
2004 a Pastoral Plan was completed based upon input from our parish
community.As part of this planning process, a feasibility study was
conducted regarding future plans for a parish school.
Our Purpose for an
Updated Process in 2006

Our
Parish Community continues to grow
·
Demographics have continued to change;
·
Father Bolte joined St. Timothy’s as our new shepherd and pastor in fall
2005.
Objectives for 2006
Process
·
Gain
an understanding of how current services are perceived by our
parishioners
·
Gain
an understanding of interests in services not currently offered to our
parishioners.
·
Gain
an updated perspective on the building of a parish elementary school.
·
Determine future direction for financial allocation of parish monies.
Planned Approach
·
Focus Groups will be conducted from various groups of parish members to
assure a statistically sound process;
·
Focus
groups have been designed to assure that all voices have an opportunity
to express their interests in current and future services.
·
Input gathered will be utilized to develop 3-5-10 year plan for
St. Timothy Parish.
·
Focus Group data will be compiled to formulate a more specific
questionnaire to address interest in supporting a Parish Elementary
School.

Collect demographical information on parish constituency and design
comprehensive focus group process

Contact attendees and schedule focus groups
·
Conduct 10 focus groups of 6-8 parish members each
September - November 2006
·
Compile focus group data and develop questionnaire for parish elementary
school.

Present Final Draft Survey to Parish Council
January 2007
·
Distribute Survey to Parish Community
February – March 2007
·
Compile data from parish questionnaires and complete analysis
·
Complete full analysis of all feedback from focus groups information and
develop long range strategic plan.
April 2007
·
Communicate final results to
Pastoral Council and Parish Community.
