Parish School Feasibility Study

Phase 1
The question that must be answered is:
“How will our parish community stir into flame the gift of God in our children?” 

Father Witte established two working committees in 2004 to look at this issue of our parish life. One committee met to identify the educational needs of our parish, from pre-school through high school. The second committee has identified the financial concerns of building future facilities and funding future ministries here at St. Timothy Parish.

To further study parishioner interest and commitment to our pastoral plan, focas groups met in the fall of 2004 to give people an opportunity to discuss:
Pre-School and Childcare Educational Life Center
Grade School
Sports and Recreational Facilities

The vision of Catholic education is not simply a matter of demographics. It is about our vision of passing on our Catholic faith and meeting the concerns parishioners have voiced over the past several years.

Information regarding Boone County demographics, available to the public from the county school system and the zoning and planning commission, was provided to the parish. This information is a critical component to future parish planning.
