Baptist Convalescent Center

The Baptist Convalescent Center provides a comfortable, homelike atmosphere and 24 hour care for its elderly residents.  A therapy unit is staffed by licensed professional therapists in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and respiratory therapy. The Center has been ministering to the elderly of the northern Kentucky region since 1952. Within the nursing facility in Newport KY, there are 167 beds certified by Medicare and Medicaid.

Our grant funding will provide outdoor furniture for the front patio as well as the painting of the patio’s concrete flooring. This particular patio is a favorite gathering place for residents of the center and serves as a gathering place for family members, volunteers and other visitors.  Our outreach project on May 15 is work on the patio flooring and landscaping.
