| Action Ministries is a food pantry/bank
which provides groceries, hope and encouragement to low-income
families and shares its excess donated products with at least 50
other agencies locally and in Cincinnati, southern Indiana, and
Kentucky. website:

Our grant dollars will support its new
program, “Food For Thought.” Working with the Kenton County
School District’s Family Resource personnel, the program sends
packages of food home each Friday afternoon with children who
can be defined as “chronically hungry.”
Our service project will take
place on Saturday, May 16 from 9am-12:30pm at the pantry. Parish
volunteers will help with
the sorting, labeling (a small sticker is place
on every item saying "In God's love, Action
Ministries"), and stocking of donations from the postal
workers' annual food drive.
Sign-up for this project will take place after
all Masses the weekends of May 2-3 and 9-10. It’s a wonderful,
family friendly project.
