April Tithe: Boone County CASA

CASA volunteers advocate for the best interest of abused, neglected, and dependent children in Boone County Family Court. Their goal is to ensure each child has a safe and permanent home.

CASA's grant speakers at our Masses on April 12 & 13 will speak the importance of their work for the children.  Our grant dollars be used for the emergency fund that helps relatives who find themselves in a financial strain trying to feed, clothe, and shelter child relatives who have been placed in their care after being removed from abusive or neglectful homes.

Community Awareness Evening in Brodnick Hall
April 14, 2008 - 7:30 p.m.

CASA's director, Colleen Bohman will be the guest speaker sharing CASA, its mission, how it serves the needs of the children in Boone Co., its volunteers, and how one can connect with CASA to make a difference in the lives of so many.

The event is open to the public and invitations have been sent to 47 neighboring Boone County churches. Please mark your calendar to attend what promises to be a great community awareness evening.
