Over the past 17 years, Catholic faithful have given more than $400 million to this appeal - a truly staggering amount. But all the more staggering is the realization that $400 million is less than one-half of the cost of care that elderly women and men religious needed last year alone. 

Their religious communities are doing all that they possibly can. Above and beyond that, they are reliant upon God's providence and our compassion. Please give generously.
