New
Hope Center has been in existence since 1989 and
its mission is to (a) preserve the lives of the
unborn through compassionate counseling to women
who find themselves faced with an unplanned
pregnancy, (b) provide counseling and
emotional/spiritual support to women who have had
abortions and (c) provide abstinence-based sex
education to the middle and high schools of
Northern Kentucky.
New Hope is going to use the grant
to help support a project they call Earn
While You Learn. This is a 12-week
parenting course for which the participants earn
through attendance a car seat (after completing
the first five sessions) and a crib (after
completing all 12). New Hope will purchase
the car seats and cribs with the funds received
from the grant.
Our outreach with New Hope will
take place
Wednesday Feb. 22 at 6 p.m.
at New Hopes Thomas More Parkway location.
We will be assisting them with
their newsletter mailing
and learning about volunteer opportunities.
Contact Greg Egbers at 384-1100, ext. 25 to
