February Grant Recipient: Hosea House

The Newport soup kitchen serves an evening meal every day of the week. It is located at 901 York Street, Newport, Ky.
Here are this month’s opportunities to connect your time & talent:

Feb. 19 & 22 - Homeless awareness
We will stand in the soup line and share the evening meal with others in line.
Contact: Ted Lewis at 384-1100 (10 adults or young adults for each day)

Feb. 20 - Prepare and serve the evening meal
St. Timothy Church is responsible for the meal every third Sunday of each month in the year. It is a wonderful stewardship opportunity for you and your family.

Feb. 24 - Kid’s Club at Hosea House from 6-7:30 p.m.
Children (approx. 22) return to the kitchen for a few hours of fellowship and fun. Help is needed to come up with a program of crafts, songs, moral and bible lessons.

Feb. 25 - Hosea House/Fish Fryday
We will transport by bus those in the soup line interested to come to St. Timothy for a fish dinner. Bus support and support on arrival is needed.
