The Meal Ministry provides parishioners with volunteer opportunities of providing meals for other St. Timothy families on occasions when they are unable to do so themselves, which may include an illness, accident, recovery from surgery or being a homebound elderly. A volunteer commitment usually consists of providing one meal every 3 months but can occur either more or less frequently according to the volunteer’s ability to help. Currently, this ministry provides ongoing meals to three parish families 2-3 times a week, and to other parish families when the need arises.

Meals organized through Kathy Kroth are scheduled through periodic sign-ups in the Gathering Space and phone calls. Meals organized through Carol Harvey are scheduled through www.lotsahelpinghands.com where volunteers will be able to view a family’s meal calendar, the available dates and sign-up online.  To receive further information about the online signups, please contact the coordinator by e-mail.  A reply email will be sent with directions to access the webpage and calendars. (Those without computers or email addresses will continue volunteering through phone calls).

Parishioners who find themselves with a need for meal support are encouraged to call for assistance.    Meal Request
