10 Grand Giveaway: $10,000 prize ($25 a ticket)

 

Grand Raffle: $1500 1st prize, $750 2nd prize and $250 3rd prize ($5 ticket)

 

TV Raffle: 46" LCD HDTV

    

Raffle drawings for the Grand Giveaway and Grand Raffle,
 will be held on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 6:00 pm.

  

You do not need to be present to win - but its more fun if you are!

 

10 Grand Giveaway Rules:
1. The purchase of a Raffle ticket is $25.00. Check or money orders should be made payable to St. Timothy Parish. Check or money orders may be attached to the completed ticket and mailed to:
St. Timothy Parish, 10272 U.S. Highway 42, Union, KY 41091.
If the entrant’s check is dishonored by the bank, the entry ticket will be declared invalid unless full payment is made prior to the drawing. Any dishonored check will be considered an invalid, the purchaser and will be notified by mail.
2. Completed tickets must be in the possession of St. Timothy Parish by 6:00 PM on September 18, 2011 to be eligible for the St. Timothy Oktoberfest “10 Grand Giveaway Raffle.”
3. Purchasers of Raffle tickets must be 18 years of age or older.
4. The prize is CASH equivalent of $10,000
5. The raffle will be closed at 6:00 PM on September 18, 2011 or when all the tickets are sold and are in possession of St. Timothy Parish, or its representatives, whichever comes first. Any ticket and money turned in after the close of the Raffle will be returned to the buyer. All tickets will be recorded on a first come, first served basis.
6. If fewer than 400 tickets are sold, St. Timothy Parish may at its option, cancel the drawing and in that event, full refunds will be mailed to all purchasers of the tickets.
7. Winners will be determined by a random drawing. The drawing will be held on September 18, 2011, approximately at 6:00 PM, at the Oktoberfest Raffle booth at St. Timothy Parish, Union, KY. The winner need not be present to claim the prize. The prize will be released after September 18, 2011.
8. Cash equivalent of $10,000 will be made payable by check to name on the ticket.
9. More than one name may be stated on the ticket; however, the first listed name shall be deemed to the entrant. The social security number provided must be that of the entrant and photo identification. Payment or delivery of any prize shall be made solely to the entrant. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant in the multiple party entries to allocate any such prize among the participants in the multiple party entries.
10. Winners will assume and be responsible for local, state, and federal taxes, including without limitation all applicable sales, use, luxury, income and special taxes. The winner will be required to pre-pay a portion of the tax liability prior to receiving the prize.
11. Raffle chance is not tax deductible.
