Needs Program
Purpose
To modify St Timothy’s religious education
program in order to fit the needs of our students
by integrating children with special needs into a
“Least Restrictive Environment”
setting.
Piecing it Together
7th and 8th grade classes meet: Mondays from 7:00
to 8:30
1st through 3rd grade classes meet: Wednesday
from 5:30 to 6:40
4th through 6th grade classes meet: Wednesday
from 7:00 to 8:10 Every child with special needs
will be integrated in a least restrictive setting
that incorporates the four pieces of the
religious education program:

- Instruction:
Lesson adaptation will vary with
students’ individual needs.
- Collaboration:
Will occur between St. Timothy and the
student’s school setting.
- Assistance:
Volunteer aides will assist students, as
needed, in order to incorporate a least
restrictive environment.
