How do I lead a reflection on the scriptures?

The simplest and most effective method is to ask questions.
Then form questions, such as these:
What did you hear?
Who will tell me something about this story?
Where did it all happen? What time of the day did it happen?
Who were the people there? What were their names?
What were they doing?
What did they say?
Who was the special person in the story?
Where was he/she?
Who was the most important person in the story?
What did that person do?
Something changed between the beginning and the ending of the story: what was it?
What does this story tell us about Jesus?
How does Jesus treat people?
What do you think he wants us to know today?
What can we do?
