Program Details

  • Friday Scripture Study
    Lectionary or theme based study of the scriptures.
    Every Friday from 10:30 am-noon in Parish Center.  No registration required
     

  • A Month of Sundays
    Study the Sunday readings for the upcoming month. 
    Copies available in the Gathering Space, Parish Office, and online.
     

  • Theology on Tap
    Come join us “around the bar” on the 2nd Mondays of the month in Brodnick Hall to discuss various topics selected for each month. Bar opens at 7 pm, talk begins at 7:30 pm. Dates and topics to be announced. No reservations required.
    Child care is available with 24 hour prior request.
     

  • Come Saturday Morning
    “And I will give you rest”  Matthew 11:28   
    We invite you to spend a morning in prayer, reflection and discussion on a chosen topic. Come and join other men and women as we seek to deepen our faith and share our life experiences. Jesus invites us to come and find rest and nourishment for our souls. Meets on Saturday from 9 am-noon in the Parish Center. Dates to be announced. Pre-register by contacting Dottie Due or the parish office at 384-1100.
     

  • Yahweh Cafe
    Relax, learn, and share concerns over coffee and snacks
    Meets during children's PSR classes in the Youth Room in Brodnick Hall.
    Required for PSR parents and open to other adults as well.
     

  • Lenten Small Groups
    Small groups meet to read and discuss the readings for the Sunday Liturgy for the six weeks of Lent. This is a great way to meet new parishioners. Groups meet throughout the week and begin on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday.
    Sign up information will be announced before the start of Lent.
     

  • Men’s Group
    This group provides an opportunity for men to come together to share their faith. We believe that men need to share their lives with each other to help us to be better husbands, fathers, sons and grandfathers, and grow closer to the Lord.

    Activities: sharing of Scripture, prayer, and discussion; coffee and doughnuts.

    Meets: second & fourth Saturdays from 7:30-9am in Brodnick Hall.  No sign-up required. Some men pray the rosary at 6:30am and /or attend the 7am Mass. Come anytime and bring a friend!

  • Women’s Prayer Group

    This group of women come together to share their faith and prayers. Activities: share scripture, listen to a member’s reflection, and discuss topic questions and how the scripture reading is touching their lives at that moment, and prayer.

    Meets: first Saturday of the month at 9am and the third Thursday of the month at 7pm in the Parish Center.   No sign-up required.

  • FAMILIA
    This four-year program for mothers of young children focuses on three areas: Gospel readings, Catholic Catechism, and Pope John Paul II’ s teachings on marriage and family. Groups meet twice a month from September through May for ninety minutes. Childcare is provided. Signups for the new groups start in late spring. (more info)
     

  • Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
    RCIA is a program for those who want to become Catholic or simply learn more about the Catholic faith. The program begins in September and is presented every Tuesday at 7 pm in the parish center. Childcare is provided. (more info)

     

  • Christ Renews His Parish
    This spiritual renewal program is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with God, retreat from the world, and share your faith with a group of your fellow parishioners. Two-day "CRHP" retreats at St. Timothy Parish are offered separately for men and women. Registration information will be announced prior to each retreat. (more info)
