Liturgical Music Ministry

Music is something that allows us a common language of shared emotions not otherwise experienced. If we allow it, music can shape and express our religious affections, forming an even deeper faith-filled experience that grows with time. All who have been given the gift of music are encouraged to prayerfully consider participating in the Music Ministry of our parish.

  • Parish Choir:
Rehearses every Thursday evening at 7pm and sings at the 9:30am Sunday Mass. Open to anyone high school age and older.

  • Contemporary Ensemble:
Rehearses every Sunday morning at 10:15am and sings at the 11:30am Sunday Mass. Open to vocalists and instrumentalists high school age or older.

  • Cantor:
Rehearses one half hour before Mass. Cantors lead singing on a rotating basis at the 4:30pm. Saturday Mass. Due to the uniqueness of this ministry, the ability to read music and previous vocal experience is necessary.

  • Instrumentalist:
Anyone having the ability to play a musical instrument is encouraged to discuss opportunities with the music director. Your participation can be as-needed, seasonally or weekly.

  • Children’s Choir:
Rehearses and sings for the Easter and Christmas seasons. Watch the bulletin for details.

The ability to read music or previous choral experience is not necessary for choir participation. To discuss your involvement in any music ministry, please contact
Katie Barton after Mass on Sunday or by e-mail.
