Bereavement 

The primary committee plans funeral liturgies. Bereavement members work in teams to help parishioners select the music and readings for the Mass. Others supporting this committee serve as Eucharistic ministers, servers and lectors. A food committee helps with the reception after Mass in Brodnick Hall. Members also may visit with the bereaved family.

Qualifications: The parish pays for two bereavement training classes. Anyone who is a good listener with a caring heart is welcome. Availability during the day is helpful but not required.
